Mission & Vision

Mission

Our mission is to promote contemporary visual culture—from photography to comics, from illustration to digital art—as a form of expression, knowledge, and social inclusion.

Through the festival and the association's activities, we want to:

• Enhance visual languages as tools for narrating the present and building new imaginaries;

• Offer spaces for visibility and comparison to photographers, illustrators, cartoonists, visual artists, both emerging and established;

• Support training with courses, workshops and programs open to all, with attention to young people, schools and vulnerable groups;

• Making art accessible and participatory, creating connections between people, communities and territories;

• Activate local and international cultural networks, in collaboration with third sector bodies, institutions and entities;

• Enhance the Ligurian region and beyond through cultural projects that regenerate spaces and stimulate reflection.

Our work is based on the voluntary commitment of our members and the belief that visual art should be a common good.
